Terms & disclaimers
Read this before you mail anything. It sets out what TapLetter does, and what it deliberately does not do.
Automated scrivener service — no legal advice
The services, software, and documents provided by this platform ("Service") are automated technological tools for document composition, typographical formatting, and physical postal delivery. The Service is not a law firm, does not provide legal representation, does not perform the practice of law, and is not a substitute for an attorney’s advice.
All text, templates, and layouts generated by artificial intelligence are created exclusively from user-supplied facts and inputs. The Service does not assess the legal sufficiency, merits, or strategic consequences of any correspondence. Users retain full responsibility for reading, verifying, editing, and approving all content prior to physical dispatch.
Postal transit & delivery
Physical mail printing, enveloping, and delivery are fulfilled via third-party commercial print facilities and the United States Postal Service (USPS). Delivery timelines, estimated delivery dates, and tracking scans are estimates provided by postal carriers. The Service is not liable for postal carrier losses, misdeliveries, routing delays, weather-related transit failures, or recipient refusals to accept delivery.
Lawful use & indemnification
You represent and warrant that all correspondence created and mailed through this Service contains no defamatory, fraudulent, threatening, extortive, or unlawful material under federal or state law, including 18 U.S.C. § 876 (mailing threatening communications) and 18 U.S.C. § 1341 (mail fraud). You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Service, its operators, and its infrastructure partners from any claims, regulatory actions, damages, or liabilities arising from the content or dispatch of your mailings.
Cancellation & refunds
Every letter has a 15-minute cancellation window after payment, during which you can cancel for a full refund. Once that window closes the letter has entered production and can no longer be recalled.
